Agile processes like Scrum and Kanban all suffer the same problem: none of them help you what so ever building, testing, releasing and monitoring software. During the last couple of years, releasing frequently has become the new way of working. Doing so, opens up a whole new world of challenges for you, your team and the tools you use along the way. Collaboration between development and operations becomes mandatory and monitoring an essential part of your development process.
In this session, I will take you through the basic principles of DevOps. DevOps attempts to bridge the gap between developers and operations, by supporting collaboration and a shared set of tools and processes. You will learn from example, how to implement DevOps in your Umbraco project, using Umbraco Cloud and elmah.io all the way from development to production.
